Mike has a BA(Ed) from WITS, and has experience in teaching (at both government and private high schools), training and education (from ABET colleges to university staff development programmes), and is currently reading towards his MEd (Environmental Education) through UNISA. His field of expertise is the integration of environmental education and training programmes through the intervention of technology (ie, a computer trainer !), and although passionate about the environment and environmental education, is a bit of a "wuss" in the field!
Meryl has a BCompt (Accounting) from UNISA, and has experience within the administrative and financial fields (both national and international), and is currently reading towards her HDipTax through RAU. Her field of expertise is the management of all financial and administrative tasks and policies within the tax and accounting fields (ie, an accountant !), and although passionate abouth the plight of animals, is not scared to stand on spiders!
